During these years the system was successfully approbated by pupils of different ages in countries such as Russia, Finland, Norway, France, India, etc. The music director of Riverside County Philarmonic and the West Los Angeles Symphony Patrick Flinn said this a few years ago: "I have seen many improvisation systems in the past ... But I must say that Ms. Smirnoff's is one of the the most effective , cleverly constructed that I have ever encountered". There is a purity in the simple logic of this system that makes it equally useful for beginners and advanced players alike.
Going forward, Irina is planning new projects, team-building skills using improvisation, creating new music, and the most important of all…to teach others how to find happiness in music.
